I happened to find something using the “Wayback Machine” that I been wanting to review for several years; but the webmaster passed away about 5 years ago, and his son died about two years after that – Both were named Alfred Alton Franklin — Both were distant cousins of mine. Al, junior had a very extensive family tree with notes, and resource links I have not found anywhere else on the web.
As far as “our” degree of cousins? That get a bit tricky — there were kinship/marriage connection on several of “our” ancestral (pedigree) tree(s).
Now that I have found an ARCHIVED version of his family tree data — I plan to use this BLOG to “mirror” the contents of his years of loving, devoted researched family “database”.
At some point in the future this site may become PUBLIC; but not without the proper permission from someone who has the authority to speak for the wishes of Al junior, and Al (Trip), the third.
So…with this brief summary what prompted the re-vamping, re-purposing of this site. I believe I will see what I can get done, in small increments in my evening ‘free time’.
